Nickie is a cultural change agent designing and leading strategies to drive organizational wide talent development, client obsession and behavioral change to transform end to end customer experience worldwide. She has developed learning experiences to drive new practices and build new capabilities for employees and clients. She is also a catalyst for Marketing with Purpose as a growth engine for driving new business opportunities for Microsoft Advertising and its clients. She is also an International Coaching Federation certified coach and Dare to Lead trained.

Nickie is a passionate cultural champion and influencer of diversity, equity and inclusion. She has led many advocacy groups at Microsoft and is the Co-Founder and President of Be Bold for Change (US and UK based nonprofit) whose mission is to build an intersectional and intergenerational community of women, girls and their allies who strive to inspire, empower and support each other to take bold programmatic action to accelerate parity. She also serves on the board of Washington Women in Need, a nonprofit that works to enable women to achieve economic stability through education.

Born in Jersey CI, Nickie grew up in England, began her working career in England and relocated to Bellevue Washington, USA in 2013. She is married to Nick Smith, and proud mother to sons, Jack & Max, Rolo the chocolate Labrador and grand puppy Luna.
